The Word of Power and Deliverance Ministry, Inc was formed by a vision of Pastor Larry Anderson in 1998. It started out as a bible study in the living room of the Pastor's home. When a few more started to come we moved to the carport of the home. When yet, a few more started to come he purchased a small army tent and held the first tent service in the front yard of his home. This is where many became exposed to the word that was being expounded at that time and they began to leave their church to become part of this movement. Pastor Anderson realized that as the people began to come, he needed a place that could accommodate the ones that would begin to hear this word. The ministry was moved to the Union Hall in Columbia, Ms. While at this hall many began to see the power of the Word of God move in a mighty way that would change their lives forever. From this movement came the opportunity to purchase 7.4 acres of land with a building that would later be transformed into the Christian Tabernacle of Holiness. Now, 20 years later the ministry has continued to grow and God is moving rapidly in mighty ways. The vision is yet to come as to what will transpire next. God has truly blessed us in a mighty way and we are excited about the new challenges and opportunities that he has waiting for us in the years to come.
